Suzana Niederdorfer

Zuzana Niederdorfer received her master´s degree in piano performance from the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava.
She was one of the awarded winners at several national and international competitions, including the Robert Schumann competition in Zwickau (DE), Paloma O’Shea in Santander (ES), Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte (CZ) the Fryderyk Chopin competition in Mariánske Lázňe (CZ), Incontro Internazionale Giovani Pianisti Citta di Senigallia (IT). At the national competitions she was awarded the first prize in solo,- and chamber music too.
During her pianistic career she could acquire knowledges by Viktor Nosov, Ida Černecká (student of V.Gornostaeva), M. Lapšanský. She was inspired at the masterclasses in the class of professors K. Zemplenyi, L. Berman,V. Gornostaeva, G.Sebök.
In 1993, she earned her doctor degree from the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.

Zuzana Niederdorfer has performed solo recitals and collaborated with orchestras (among others.Moscow Symphonic Orch.) and chamber groups throughout Europe, China, and the United States. She made six CDs and recordings for BBC London and Czecho-Slovak radio and television d Dramatic Arts in Bratislava and at the Academy of Arts in Banska Bystrica in Slovakia (where in the past she worked as a head of department and vice dean).

Since the last 10 years Zuzana Niederdorfer is professor in the piano department at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz in Austria. Among her students are numerous awarded laureates of international competitions.
She has given masterclasses in Italy, Germany, Austria, Finland, Island, United States, China, Poland, Slovakia, Czech republic,Slovenia, Lithuania…
Zuzana Niederdorfer is member of jury at national and international competitions. Since 12 years she founded in Slovakia an international festival, piano-masterclasses, national and international piano competition, “Forum per tasti”.

Suzana Niederdorfer a obtenu sa maîtrise en interprétation au piano à l’Académie de musique et d’art dramatique de Bratislava.
Elle est lauréates de plusieurs concours nationaux et internationaux, dont le concours Robert Schumann à Zwickau (DE), Paloma O’Shea à Santander (ES), Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte (CZ), le concours Fryderyk Chopin à Mariánske Lázňe (CZ), Incontro Internazionale Giovani Pianisti Citta di Senigallia (IT). Elle est également Premier prix de concours nationaux, notamment en soliste et en musique de chambre.
Au cours de sa carrière pianistique Suzana Niederdorfer a pu bénéfificer de l’enseignement de Viktor Nosov, Ida Černecká (élève de V. Gornostaeva) et M. Lapšanský. Elle s’est inspirée des masterclasses des professeurs K. Zmplenyi, L. Berman,V. Gornostaeva, G. Sebök.

Suzana Niederdorfer a donné des récitals en solo et a collaboré avec des orchestres (entre autres, l’Orchestre symphonique de Moscou) et des groupes de chambre à travers l’Europe, la Chine et les États-Unis. Elle a réalisé six CD et enregistrements pour la BBC de Londres et la radio et la télévision tchéco-slovaques. Elle a enseigné plus de 20 ans à la faculté de musique de l’Académie de musique et d’art dramatique de Bratislava et à l’Académie des arts de Banska Bystrica en Slovaquie (où elle a auparavant travaillé comme chef de département et vice-doyenne).

Suzana Niederdorfer est professeur au département de piano à l’Université de musique et des arts du spectacle de Graz en Autriche depuis 10 ans. Parmi ses élèves figurent de nombreux lauréats de concours internationaux.
Elle a donné des masterclass en Italie, Allemagne, Autriche, Finlande, Île, États-Unis, Chine, Pologne, Slovaquie, République tchèque, Slovénie, Lituanie…
Zuzana Niederdorfer est membre de jury de concours nationaux et internationaux. Il y a 12 ans, elle a fondé en Slovaquie un festival international, des masterclasses de piano, un concours national et international de piano ; « Forum per tasti ».
