Moon Hee Song is a pianist and educator.
She graduated from the St. Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia and the Kiev State Academy in Ukraine. Having studied with V.A.Kalmikoff and I.M.Ryavoff, she received diplomas in the categories of soloist, chamber music, concert master, and professor.
She has been active in many areas since graduating and has been invited to perform at the Mukachiva Young Artist Festival, the Wolmi International Music Festival, and the 50th Anniversary of Kosenco’s Death Concert, and has performed with the Czech Olomoc Symphony Orchestra, Inum Orchestra, and Westwind Orchestra.
She has performed in more than 50 concerts, including her homecoming recital, which was broadcast on KBS radio in Korea. She has also received the United Cultural Foundation Achievement Award.
Currently, she teaches at Myongji University in Seoul, and she lectures at Incheon Arts High School and the Institute for Gifted Education.
