Trained in the confluence of the French, Russian and Hungarian violin schools, Manuelle El koubbi was quickly made aware of the rigours of learning and the search for expressiveness through supple gesture. Her meeting with the violinist and teacher Géza Kapàs was a key factor in her approach to the instrument.

For many years, she played in several chamber orchestras. She was a member of the Quatuor Margand and then the Quatuor Résonances. She plays classical and romantic works from the historical repertoire as well as new pieces. She currently performs sonatas with piano and duos with guitar.

With a passion for teaching, she is interested in neuroscience and its application to musical learning. She has also deepened her research into the somatic education of the musician, in particular through the Feldenkrais Method, which she has been practising since 2008.

She is renowned for her ability to welcome very young pupils into her class, guiding and supporting them up to 3rd cycle level and throughout their careers as students and musicians.

Manuelle El koubbi holds a DE diploma in violin and has passed the PEA professional examination. She has taught violin and directed an orchestra class at the CRR in Cergy-Pontoise. She currently teaches at the Montrouge conservatory in the Paris region.
