This master class is aimed at singers as well as pianists or vocal/piano duos wishing to deepen the work of interpretation in the field of Lied and melody.

From an in-depth understanding of the poetic texts, their setting to music by the composers, the stylistic characteristics of the works approached, each will be led to develop a personal interpretation reflecting the extreme refinement of this repertoire.

Singers and pianists will work in a spirit of chamber music with particular attention paid to questions of balance, colors, dialogue between piano and voice, and the shared search for expression.
