Caroline Delume is a guitarist and theorbist who performs as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral musician. Her work, committed to all the expressive and speculative dimensions of music, combines contemporary creation with performance on period instruments. A dedicatee of works for guitar and theorbo, she has worked for a long time with the baroque music ensembles Le Concert spirituel (Hervé Niquet) and La Tempesta (Patrick Bismuth), and has performed with Les Jeunes Solistes, the ensemble 2e2m and the Ensemble Intercontemporain.

Recent recordings include Take Wing, Roll Back with flutist Tessa Brinckman, Jupiter with harpist Constance Luzzati, and Ils ont planté des arbres by David Lacroix.

Caroline Delume teaches sight-reading at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and guitar and improvisation at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Versailles Grand Parc.
